Need to get this thing running and sell the engine .

It seems to me from looking around that the engine is worth a lot more OUT of the car than in it .

oh yeah, they're 500 bucks inside the car and 1000 outside the car lol

sawzall with a 12" blade is your friend when removing that engine, btw
just cut the front core support and bumper all away right down the front
fuck unbolting any of that 'new beetle' garbage

if it is a manual you can probably get a (low) few hundred outta the full set of swap bits; clutch pedal box unbolts, shifter box drops out the bottom with the cables, tranny, axles, flywheel and starter.

When we met in 1994 she was driving a 5 speed Chevy Cavalier .

I thought the beetle was a pain in the ass to work on but she dispelled that notion by getting a 2010 turbocharged mini Cooper 6 speed .
