I got tired of fighting with my Powermax 800 and within a couple of days of searching a Powermax 65 came up on FB marketplace for what I considered a very good price and now its in my shop. It is a bit of an odd sized package, a little too big to just carry around and a bit small to put on wheels. Right now I have it sitting on an old 2 wheel pressure washer cart with 14 inch diameter pneumatic tires. It looks pretty cool on there and the 2 wheel cart works out very well for my use. Problem is its footprint is way too big for my limited storage space. A better proposition would probably be to downsize the tires to 10 inch tall pneumatics and build a cart from scratch. I am thinking a small 2 drawer file cabinet mounted under it for consumables etc or a cabinet with the plasma on the bottom and file cabinet on top. It is a seldom used tool so the quick connect leads will be stowed when not in use probably with old mig wire spools as holders..

not sure hoe big the machine is but I use one of those cheap harbor freight carts for mine. not exactly perfect but it holds my Hobart 210 and my china plasma with a pretty small footprint and I didnt have to spend time building it.

x2 on the HF cart. Depending on what other stuff you have/need to store, either of the two small ones would probably work. I have one of these with my TIG on the top and the little inverter plasma on the bottom shelf. ~$70 with the coupon.

And I have my MIG on one of these and store all the plasma/mig/tig consumables in the drawers.

the one with the white box the one with the white box on top is my old PowerMax 800, that white box is a center console from a service truck. This worked pretty well except for when it goes outside and those wheels are way too small. The new PowerMax 65 is probably 20% smaller then the old 800 and I would like to mount it on to pneumatic Wheels but something that takes up less space than the pressure washer card it's currently on.

I bought this cart off of CL some years back and use it for my welding consumables for mig, tig and plasma cutter. HD built hospital or medical cart. Roller bearings drawers. Works great for $50

Looking to something more along the lines of this. A/C D//C stick welder with ready welder in case and small tank ready to travel inside or outside

I mount all of my gear in a 37" high frame that just fits under the counters in my trailer. A simple drawer holds all of the necessary stuff for each machine while moving.

I picked up the hole pattern on the case and used longer screws to hold the plasma down with angle iron.

Keeping everything the same height and caged lets me build a 2nd story using a sheet of plywood to cover everything in the isle. You know how fast the trailer fills up. Hope you're able to stay busy!
