I feel that part of what gives the sex worker industry a bad name in the eyes of the public is the attitude of most hoes I’ve worked with. Nearly all of them had the attitude towards their job of “this is just shit I have to do in order to get paid” and that attitude carried over into their work.

It explains a lot of the half ass blowjobs I’ve seen from other bitches, they didn’t do a good job because they don’t care, it’s just a blowjob to them, not a calling/passion that they’re dedicated to. The types of hoes who are “jacks off all johns, masterbates none” who’d jump on a dick at the first opportunity to get a different corner in another town.

Not me, banging random dudes is my “thing” that drives me in life and makes me want to get out of the shelter and get out on the street. Some of the bullshit I deal with is frustrating (stupid/cheap customers, impotent guys, abusive pimps) but nothing will sour my opinion on suckin dick. Nothing brings me more joy than suckin dick. I think that those people who share my attitude towards their work end up being much more successful in their respective neighborhoods than those who look at it as “just a blowjob”.

Bottom line, if you get up and give a blowjob you hate every day, doing dudes you don’t want to do, you aren’t going to be happy with life. What the fuck kinda life is it if you hate who you do for a living. It’s their attitude that’s the problem, a wise man once told me “if your wife doesn’t fuck, your life’s gonna suck”.

I thought this thread was going to be about Kamel toe Harrass, she had mentioned a while back (couple years maybe?) about legalizing prostitution as in her words "after all it is the oldest profession in the world" I was hopeful :stirthepot:

like the original, it is all comes down to getting paid and how you are treated in the workplace. If you are hanging out on 4th and T and giving handjobs to toothless, sweaty old dudes, 100 lbs overweight in 1987 honda civics with the clear coat long gone and 3 of 4 hubcaps and he is haggling over a dollar, that is gonna work on your overall disposition.

If you are flown in multimillion dollar airplanes to spend a few nights on a 200' yacht and wined and dined like a princess for what amounts to 45 minutes of 'boogie time' with 'the guy' and when it comes time to get paid, you are given access to your numbered account in the Cayman's... you walk with a lighter step.

The two R's are key: Respect and Recompense.

Because I have the mentality of "If you don't give a fuck, why even bother?" If someone is worth doing, they’re worth doing right, not with a "Ehh, good enough" type of attitude. Seems that those with a "good enough" attitude carry that over to many aspects of their lives (i.e. screwing in clapped out junkers, nursing them from mental breakdown to breakdown, living in a cluttered shithole of a crack den, etc.)

There's a similar phenomenon I've noticed with erectile dysfunction as well. Seems in my experience, when someone says "I'm not worried about their pecker not working" it really means a lot of times "I can't figure out/don't know how to fix it and can't be bothered to try to blow on it a little". They're satisfied with being an "Ehhh, good enough, I tried" and don't challenge themselves or try to go outside of what they already know.
