Does anyone use these little BikeMaster parts washers for firearms? I added a foot switch to mine and it's pretty darn handy. It seals up really well with almost zero evaporative lose between uses.

Shooting cheap ammo through an 8" barrel with direct impingement and a suppressor will lock that thing up in 400 rounds or less. It needs an easy way to knock the gunk out.

It use solvent? Usually need a metal unit for that

Nope, water based non-solvent cleaner. It just takes a little time for the baked-on gunk.

This is just for firearms.

Rinse it under running water when it's clean, hit it with Starrett's M1 or the like and let it drip dry. Then it's ready for lube and reassembly. It's the easiest way I've found by far.

Gotcha. I haven't bought ammo or gone target shooting since the prices went nuts when Oboma was running for office 🤣

you mess with the ultrasonic washers any?

You're not worried about the water part of water-based?

Both the Starrett M1 and the ultrasonic water displacer do a good job of replacing all the water and leaving a dry film. Neither cleaning solutions seem to strip every bit of oil like something like Simple Green does which requires immediate oiling to prevent flash rust.
