Oh yea. That is fact
I would go if you have the time.Got an invite to go out to the case plant in June to operate their new loaders and give them feed back. Unsure if I’m gonna say yes or not. The pits would have to go on autopilot for the 3-3.5days I’m gone.
I forgot to tell the case bigwig when he was here for the demo days the return to dig blows and the bucket geometry needs work. I don’t know if they would like my feedback.
The right ones do listen. I'll repeat.. the right ones. Family we grew up with owns the local Bobcat dealership. We needed a mini. The Bobcat sucked, hydraulics were all out of whack. boom was twice as fast as the stick. Told my friend it sucked. He called one of the V.P.s to see if there was something that could be done. The guy called me directly and we talked off and for months. He came to town for a bobcat function and asked to see me. We don't own any bobcat equipment. He said we're not the target customer back then. Landscapers curl the bucket and boom up. Big hoe guys use the stick. He asked about lift points when we crane them into holes. Got a call from him when they released the E series saying the new machine would be more to my liking. Yeap, cool story bro but I had input on the design. Didn't get shit out of it but a leg up on the dealer buddy because I can call the factory myself. They dont want your feedback. They just want to sell you shit
then sit them in the kawasaki and tell them to buy one of them to copyTell them if they're gonna pay for hotels and meal to send the engineers to you.
Kawasakis are too big for case. I would give them my 42,000 hour 744h to copy. That thing is by far the best loader I have ever driven. The ease it gets a full bucket without spinning the tires is unparalleled.then sit them in the kawasaki and tell them to buy one of them to copy
If anything you get some free meals and hopefully can bank the per diem
A video of the the underground part of quarry I work out of.
After looking around their website. i think it holds spare drill rods.Cool! What is this thing hanging off the right side of the drill?

Would flame spray welding work for that?
Like this:
Yesh, no clue, I only know it from CEE and Abom79 videos Although I think I've seen Abom spray it on pretty thick. IIRC he usually turns a coarse thread under it to make it stick better.Probably would. I even do have that torch to spray weld. I need to build it up almost 3/16 a side. Not sure it would stay on going that thick,
If you have the right inserts, dry is the way to go. Lower cutting forces, higher feed rates and lower tool wear..100” per pass? I don’t think I’ve ever takin more than .040”. Your doing that without coolant.
Was taking .100” per pass with the boring bar. The little lathe was grunting. This is why I need a geared head lathe arse_sidewards instead of a belt drive. I don’t have the patience to take light cuts when you need to open the hole up over a 1”.
My big lathe I’ll do .200 if I have a good grip in the chuck. This was kinda sketchy as I only.100” per pass? I don’t think I’ve ever takin more than .040”. Your doing that without coolant.
$80 minimum loading fee should get rid of all the pickups and little dump trailersGot to work on it a bit today. Was constantly bugged by people looking for little loads of screened topsoil. Had to load 6-7 of them this morning. Don’t get much done when you’re doing this.
Inserts, you say?If you have the right inserts, dry is the way to go. Lower cutting forces, higher feed rates and lower tool wear.
It’s more of keeping the neighborhood happy. It’s extremely irritating but the last thing I need is a bunch of Karen’s complaining. It’s one of those things you just need to live with.$80 minimum loading fee should get rid of all the pickups and little dump trailers
fuck the $25 one near me is convenient for me but I don't see how they can justify it
Yes and no. Dumping shit into the back of a $80,000 pickup with a 4 yd loader is not a kids job:(. There is zero room for error. Shit I still get nervous. Some day I’m gonna pop a lift cylinder hose and I’m gonna crush a pickup I just know it.Good job for your oldest son.
