Panzers: I break rocks thread

Didn’t realize by letting them do this I would have to keep the shit show going. Problem is the dealer has zero idea how to keep it going. Even my dad who was the one who convinced me to do this said this is becoming way bigger deal for us than anticipated.
Will the extra time needed sir setup/tuning make up for the fuel they are paying for?
Does the Cat dealer put on a similar show that you could pit against the Case dealer to host it and pay you something for it?
Sounds like you could work this into a "crusher plant efficiency engineer" job after you sell your pits and retire...

I would assume that’s like our 3/4” dense base. $275 a load delivered:homer:

The big guys in town kinda ruin the market for road gravel. They make 3” railroad ballast and the gravel is just a waste. They sell it way too cheap.

Damn, what's the radius/distance on that?

My trailer doesn't move for less than $240... and I drive someone else's car on it. Definitely don't have labor and capital for material on top of transport cost.

10-15 miles

Knowing a few of those guys it's a lot of travel to places you don't care about. I'm sure it's cool and you can make a good living at it but be prepared to travel a lot.

Hope you can talk them into drilling a pattern..... our driller and a couple crusher guys are heading down your way for the show. We're in the market for another drill.
I believe I talked to your buddies today. My sister brought them over to say hi. I was talking to him when the owner of miller Brad walked up. Your buddy me and the owner of miller Brad are all in a picture that will be in the construction equipment guide :lmao: He wasn’t too excited about getting a picture taken.:lmao:

Got to talk with a bunch of other big crushing guys pretty neat.

Brother Matt hates the paparazzi, I'm sure he tried walking away. Glad you's got to touch base, it can be a small world sometimes....

Sounds like you guys do a ton of work for the mines up there. He said you do 2million + tons a year. Big time operation.

We're pretty busy, besides our aggregate division we have a earthwork division (moving 2 million cyd this season), road/pipe crew, and bridge division. We are very fortunate all this work is within one county, we get to go home every night and sleep in our own beds.

Sounds like our agg manager Big Jon was with you in the pic.... I was teasing Matt, but he said no way he got in any clips.

Yeah it was the agg manager. The skinny guy that was with him got lost :lmao:. I think it was the driller maybe.

where are the pics of the piles of rock you got crushed for free (ish)? :smokin:

and most importantly did your star employee (bulldog) make an appearance?
He was there but we had a slight incident . :lmao: Someone was flying a drone around and the bulldog seen it and went full I’m gonna motherfuking kill that thing. I had to find the pilot and make sure he did not get that thing close to the ground or it would have been dead:lmao:. Took me 10 mins to capture the little fucker because he was drone hunting :homer:

My oldest boy walks the bulldog every evening with his drone. Does a few laps around the pit to tire the little asshole out. It’s pretty funny.

I’ll get some pile pictures today.

Nah he has zero issues with garbage cans. But a drone that little bastard will move heaven and earth to try to kill. :lmao::homer:
gonna be a sad day when he learns what propellers to the snoot feel like.

fun fact, dad had to have reconstructive surgery on his hand courtesy of a saito 150. Got careless one day. 16" APC gave zero fucks about his flesh.

Most impressive machine was that slow speed grinder. The shit they were dropping in there was unbelievable. 24” diameter stump was no problem for it to chew up. Sounds like a local landfill is gonna buy it for the c&d waste and the mattresses.

Next most surprising was that double screen in the hole screening sand. That thing did an awesome job for what it is. The 2 screen boxes that you can vary the angle of is perfect for this job. They think they sold both of those machines. Lots of guys were impressed with that thing.

The impactor and jaw are next. The jaw definitely did its job. It’s impressive how much went through that thing. Didn’t even have any stucks. Impactor mowed through the concrete. Still lots of learning to do with that thing but once it’s figured out it will be a beast.

I watch way too many vids of those things eating stuff.

When I get FU money I WILL own one.
