Anyone ran the Paiute Trail in their SXS here? Planning a family friendly summer vacation next year. Going with another couple that have two kids 8 and 10yo I think. Couple years ago we went to SD Black Hills with them and another couple and had a great time. We have not been to central UT and thought it looked interesting. Is there much to do in that area other than ride UTVs? I love the technical stuff but for the family trips we are looking more for scenic trails to just get out and enjoy.

Haven’t done any of the trail. Partially not sure how much is doable/legal in a 72” wide car.

Beautiful and varied scenery all around there though, even just from the highway. Did randomly stop for dinner at Tomato’s Pizza Pie in Marysvale last summer while out for a drive. Tasty with good service and atmosphere. Towns along the network are friendly.

Looks like Jeeps are allowed on the trails so maybe only some are width restricted to 50/60" width?

I called the Ranger station in Ritchfield and they are going to send me some paper MVUM.

Yeah, it’s a mix. I hadn’t dug real deep. Seem to remember there are a couple spots that make a big difference in distance due to width restrictions. Just to be aware.

Trails galore. We went from duck creek to bryce a couple summers ago. Had to ride along 89 for a minute but the rest was just trails. Utah is the shit for trails. :smokin:

I hear they have new rules for sxs though. Have to look into that.

My old stomping grounds are in the Manti and sanpitch ranges. There's days and days of riding all through there.
