How do guys keep their vice outdoors or on trucks and not have them rusted to shit?
They use them

I put a 6" Wilton on the back of my service truck 5yrs ago and it's still in great shape. Only thing I did initially was pull it apart and grease everything really good so that the internals wouldn't rust up. Other than getting washed when the truck gets a bath I don't do anything special.
Edit: Added picture for condition reference....
Cause I can order it on a job through our parts department...Why penetrating oil? wd40 not work? pb blaster?

Tangent, but does anyone know where to order those hinges? Latches look pretty badass as well
When you see the price you'll have an urge to put some boring old barn door hinges in the press brake.Tangent, but does anyone know where to order those hinges? Latches look pretty badass as well
Neither rust nor roads are a problem where you are.Use them, oil them every once in awhile. Ahhh and oh yes the most important thing, the roads are so rough around here the vibration keeps them from rusting stuck.
Body is made by Maintainer.
They sell all kinds of cool stuff like that.

Fordguy is also in California. Rust is minimal issue, I agree there but you clearly have a huge misrepresentation of what the roads are like here.Neither rust nor roads are a problem where you are.
