Pretty wild in Molalla/Colton area. I hooked up my horse trailer and spent my afternoon evacuating horses.
It was pretty eerie. 4pm and it was damn near pitch dark. I just got another rescue call but I need to be up early.

Took this today looking south over the Portland airport toward that area around 6. Pretty crazy to see the smoke flow. I've seen big fire clouds east of the mountains but I don't think I've ever seen one like this on the wet side.

We just left Molalla. Staying at my parents in Oregon city. Im sure our house is fine, just didn't want to get woken up at 2 in the morning.

Holy shit, where was that picture taken? And is there a bigger version of it?
I hear Medford is being evacuated now. I hope people keep safe, for all of them near any of these fires.

2hrs of sleep.. Had to come into work to take care of a few things and then I'm back at it. Mainly helping people move horses. The fire is no more than 5 miles from my house but I feel I'm in a safe zone. The wind is pushing the fire west, but south of me.

Those pictures don't even look real.

Stay safe!

Two of my buddies got evacuated to the fairgrounds yesterday, a third is getting ready to...:frown:

I got an email from Tom's Bronco Parts stating they would be closed due to being evacuated. I have only been there once, but swear I remeber it being right off the freeway in kind of an industrial area. I cant wrap my head around what it must be like up there right now. Stay safe everyone.

Here’s the smoke situation 20 miles west of Eugene. Had another fire start by my house. It’s the 4th one in 2 weeks span. Something definitely suspicious with these fires.

Very smokey and lots of ash falling from the sky in Salem. I know one person that most likely lost their house up in Lyons. Really weird outside right now that's for sure. The fire people have been staging at the college I work at. They come their to rest while another crew goes out. They have the command centers all set up as well.

I know I'm a machinery nerd when I instantly know what's under the tarp.:smokin:

Just talked to my mom in Florence, she said the smokes bad there too. Said the wind is blowing west.

Yeah basically everything or almost everything nearby after the bridge on 22 going over the north fork is gone. My grandpa's house could be seen from the bridge on the river, but it's a pile of ashes now. My buddy's place on the west side of the bridge near the school is still good though, we just finished building his shop this summer, hope the fire stays put
