I have been using OnX Offroad for a year now. I have the Premium membership. Is there a way to change the color/icon of the dot that represents you on the map? I can't find it in the settings if there is. The problem I was having is last month in Moab on a few of the trails the trails are a blue line and the same color blue dot to represent my position made it hard to quickly see where I was while driving. I use a 10" tablet for nav and have it mounted so I can see it while driving since the wife doesn't always go with me.

I think it is in the map controls not user settings , not sure I'm using gaia now

So reached out to OnX yesterday and they actually emailed me back last night. Said that you cannot change the position dot color currently but they would add it to recommendations for future updates. But she did tell me that if you change to record track it does change the dot to red so that would be a work around. I guess the only possible issue would be if you are running tight on memory in your tablet or phone it could run into issues that way.

It was pretty nice actually getting a real response from a person and not just a canned AI reply. the CS person said they get a lot of suggestions so it might not be addressed anytime soon but they do take suggestions into consideration.

Be cool if they made it a dark dot with a white line around it, or something along those lines...
