What do you guys prep for easy meals over a fire or on a Coleman stove on a week trip?

Looking for more ideas before our trip out west in September. :smokin:

Being of Sicilian decent, My fav is Grandma's Lasagna.
Hot or cold it works, easy to grab and eat from the foil or manifold heater and go...
Breakfast burritos (same as above.)
Lazy?
Can of chilli/hash on the fire, or manifold .
I love cooking @ home, the trail is for fun. Washing dishes "aint"...

depends on your set up, but we did this and it worked amazing. the week before cook your meals, or mostly cook them that is. for instance you want to have walking tacos, cook and season all the meat the week prior, freeze it in some zip lock bags, because when you done you toss the bag in the garbage and dont have to clean another dish.
we have froze all kinds of things the week prior, takes less time to cook over a fire or coleman stove.
precooked maple flavored sausage links are the bomb also. lolololol

freeze as many bottles of water you can and keep them in the cooler also. freeze ice that you can drink later.
