Is there an Irate for atv's? Been looking for things I can flip and sell since I'm sans license for another couple months and stumbled upon an old Mojave 250 for cheap, do they have a cult following like 250R's and Quadzilla's? I figured I'd be a couple grand in it once I source plastics and get it running right.

Ditto on not flip quads right now.

I have an 96 bayou 300. Pretty much perfect condition. Still on original tires, so low miles even.

With winch, plow, title and registration listed for $2k. It has been for sale for months now. I get lots of messages but $1,500 is the highest offer I have ever gotten.

Snow plow season is coming I expect it to sell then. But that market has really crashed for now.

I have a 87 Warrior just had the frame sandblasted and waiting to be reassembled. NFS, ain't worth anything to anyone else.

thats correct. nothing wrong with fixing up something for your use and enjoyment. blasting a frame to flip it is just spending good money after bad.

I went through a spell I was having trouble, bought a chinese carb, spent a lot of time trying to get it to work. It was working but running out of fuel on the top end of long runs.

Ended up putting original back on after a few runs through an ultrasonic cleaner. Setting the float level is extremely critical on these

I was looking for a Kawi Mule or similar work sxs, and ended up getting a XJ on 35's cheaper. Not in the same class, but both will work for my needs, and road legal and insurance will be much easier for me. I also have an airplane for sale at what we thought was a really good price, and I can't even get anyone to contact me about it.

Hello yes I love trash, especially the green kind.

Mojaves are worth a little to a guy that had one as a kid, but they're a 1500-2000 dollar bike around here if they're nice, drops off sharp for one that isn't. Any old sport machine that isn't a 250R or 400ex has never been super hot, they're what guys buy because they can't afford one of the more popular machines. That thing looks rougher than a night in jail, would need to be free or near free to be worth flipping.

Economy isn't right for flipping toys right now.

This is what I wondering and why I bought it, I had an old Tecate that I knew was kinda worth some dollars but when I sold it a few years back the ebay listing went fucking nuts, didn't know if the Mojaves were the same way.

Some ppl just can't or won't listen.. had you gone camping.. you'd be better off...:usa:

I'll repaet: Good Luck and go camping enjoy life a little..
I need to stay busy, I've been here 3 weeks and I've done all the rest and relaxation I need for a while :lmao:

Tecates are hot right now and impossible to find. I've been looking to add one to my collection
I think Tecates are always hot, I had one when I was a teenager and it was the only one me or any of my friends ever saw growing up on the east coast, I'd really like to find a Yamaha tri-z and restomod it one day.

Did you have a 3 or 4?

3 wheeler, I used to see a Mojave every so often when I was a kid but I never saw another Tecate 3 wheeler in person until I started venturing out to California after high school, same with the Yamaha Tri-z, probably only saw one or two when I was a kid.

if you get that for 0.00, that would still be a hard flip to even break even
I guarantee, the more you dig into that thing, the more you are going to find is bent to shit. and that is before you get to the cosmetic stuff
hard pass

I wish I had known the prices were going to go up on these. I bought a brand new 98 Banshee that was in mint condition when I sold it, my parent's friend bought a brand new 88 250r they sold in mint condition and my friend bought an 86 350x three-wheeler in 93 that was brand new that had been ridden one time for $900. I would have hoarded all of them.

I see them listed on vintage awesomeness atv/atc fb group every so often 250r's and banshee's are mostly listed tho.

OP there's a lot of 250x ,300x and 230 quadsports for around 2k in great condition a cleam mojave would bring the same

I would never imply that any of you are wrong about the value of semi rare all terrain vehicles but I am pulling the engine to ship off to Arizona tomorrow for 4 times what I paid for the whole thing this morning :flipoff2:
