Old Lamp- What is it Sunday?

Wife found me this old lamp for $10. Never seen one like it and we have close to 60 unique lamps currently.

Only marking is on the wick adjustment knob, E Miller Co. Searching under that name I see old lamps, but nothing with the horizontal fuel cylinder like this. I'm guessing the shade is missing something off the top, and maybe the hooks would have a chain to the top?

Thinking some sort of vessel light? Boat, carriage?

Looking through there it looks like the patents for their burners in 1863 or 1866 looks like the same burner. Going to head down that rabbit hole

Thanks. I hit a wall with it too. The page with the patents on it was helpful, It really does look like the 1863/1866 patent for the burner, but nothing on the fuel tank.
