Anybody modify their swivel jack so that it actually swivels when you're trying to turn, and/or upgraded the wheel?
Would be nice to be able to wheel around the trailer in dirt/gravel/grass...

Like those off-road trolley jacks that I've seen on this site.

This is a jack I can buy. I bought one for a friend's boat trailer and it's great, but the reviews state the tire rubber falls apart after a year or two.

HF has these to mod yours or for a replacement tire. Intersting that theirs is 300lb cap.
They also have the same tire in solid (no flat), they are around $30 though
Or

And a "never flat" solid tires will fall apart when sitting in one spot under load...

exactly
my wheelbarrow's one is pretty fresh, but it still mushes around on the wheel almost like a flat tire would

so when that wheel falls apart, make you a new wheel outta flat bar like the amish would
because steel don't ever go flat
That's brilliant.

I always loved those old timey fire fighting two wheeled push carts with the huge steel spoked wheels.

Every below ground parking garage in Boston has one of those with a big extinguisher canister sitting around. Probably required by fire code or used to be.
