More of an event than a trip, my club put on an awesome show this weekend at Elbe Hills ORV in WA. It started as a dream several years ago and slowly evolved from an obstacle to a party to a legit permitted, insured event with driver payouts. It was absolutely epic.
Katemcy Rocks Texas Top Gun Shootout finals. I wasn’t wheelin’ but I took some video of other folks doing cool stuff. Awesome course, no one finished in the 15 minutes allowed, given a bit more time of a few of the competitors could’ve gotten it done…….word on the street is someone did.
Went to SourGrass last weekend.
The small hill out of the water crossing is really dug out, Looking at videos from 2019/2020 it was just a dirt hill. Now there are a few rocks that stick out make it challenging. The rock on the passenger side was perfect height to catch the slider and deny forward progress. Overall, trail had a little snow (like a few inches) but was dry in many places.
I struggled but made it. my brother and buddy in GXs on like 32s did not.
Went to Cedar Canyon Ranch in Glencoe OK for the first time. Had fun on the rocks and trails. Scott and Todd led us around a little bit and are both good guys with cool little buggies. Its the closest rock trails to me. Only 2.5 hours away. I hauled the buggy with my 96 Powerstroke “Whiskey Richard” for its first run since I got it somewhat road worthy. Took the rear tank down and front tank back so thats nice.
