Sinn makes a nice watch

I like it, especially the syringe hands. The problem is that I usually wear my g-shock and when the occasion calls for a fancy watch it’s usually my Tudor or Sea master I pick up.

You should buy it though:idea:

You owe it to yourself:beer:

Early Christmas present:laughing:

That's what I usually tell myself anyway:lmao:

I’m just not at that level of ballin yet. I go to work and might be running a chainsaw, jackhammer, or making phone calls for 10 hours. Easier to destroy 10-15 g-shocks for the price of the sinn and still live with myself after.

Should hold up without issues, maybe not the jackhammer, worth a shot

What you have, want?

Any informaton to share.

I went with Garmin Instinct. Basic activities to track speed, elevation, GPS coordinates, distance, etc.

It seems to be somewhat accurate. Makes it easier to know more information of the hiking/location of where about as I venture out.
I have the same and have owned it for about 3 years.

It's a simple looking watch but has a ton of features. Can track open water swim, run, gps location and track back. Has a tactical calculator, etc. It also tracks sleep. If you have the Garmin app and sync the watch it will track your activities and save them.

Early Christmas present to myself.

Citizen Tsuki-yomi A-T Sport.

Titanium case and bracelet
Radio controlled time sync
Eco-Drive power
Perpetual Summer time zone, (important here in AZ)
Moon phase display

That last bit is the real significant part of the watch. There are other moon-phase watches out there, but they're a notorious bitch to set up correctly, this one uses the atomic clock at Ft. Collins CO, and is accurate to 1 second in 100,000 years, so it should be fine for my uses. The moon phase thing is kinda a gimmick, but I thought it was a cool application of technology.

I have two Citizen watches, they are nice. The atomic clock is in Boulder Colorado.

I kinda hate you now. I have a bunch of Citizen, and have been eyeing that one. I dont need another watch!!....

Good question, repeaters maybe? The antenna fits in a 43mm case so I wouldn't expect it to be a low frequency. I'll look into it. I know it works, I can watch the hands go backwards when I cross into Nevada.

That’s my kind of smart watch.

Now that you've had it for a bit, how do you like it? My only gripe with a couple of my Citizens is readability. I have a red dial one that I can't hardly tell the time during the day, and at night the hands just dont hold their glow. It seems hit and miss with them This one seems like it's easy to read during the day, but I wonder about nighttime. I want to read mine in bed, without glasses, and shitty eyes. How's the glow?

Like every other luminous watch I've ever had, it only lasts for a bit. Gotta go Tritium if you want the glow all the time.

I have 5 Citizen Eco Drives now and they all work great. Even the $200 dive watch has been fine, and it on my wrist when I shoot.

Mine have been hit or miss. Some only last for a couple hours, others are readable all night. I think a lot of it has to do with the size of the hands. Some are super skinny and dont illuminate all that good

Ok I will play.
The TAG Heuer and Bulova are my "go-to" dress watches. The cheep Casio (~$50) is my everyday watch. I am getting a serious itch for the Citizen ECO sports watch.. But sombody brought up Seiko!:mad3::mad3::mad3::mad3::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff:.
I might put the watch thingy on hold for now and buy another HAM radio.

BTW: This is a little info on the radio time thingy. It has been around for years. You can listen to in on any short wave radio. I rember using it on several platforms. (government work). GPS is now a far better source of time.:stirthepot:

Month or so ago, shortly after I discoved wristwatch revival on youtube, I went to put on my orange watch and the battery was dead. So I did what any smart person would do and looked at old automatic watches on ebay. Then I did what any even smarter person would do and threw a lowball offer on this lovely chunk of soviet goodness. Dont ask why, I dont have an explanation... :homer:

Been wearing it a couple days and I like it, turns out a smaller watch is more comfortable.

So how do you like it? I kinda want to pull the trigger on this deal. Is your band darker than this one?

It's my new favorite daily. Band looks more like the ad than my pic. It's not a high polish Ti, but more of a brushed polish finish, if that makes sense.

I guess I do have a watch :homer:

I won this in a raffle years ago at a school fund raising event. I was just participating, I didn’t really want the watch. It didn’t get worn much before I determined it just wasn’t my thing. I put it back in its box and put it away, and forgot I had it.
