Off road light recommendations...

Says the guy posting a tech thread in chit chat. Thanks for making future searches less effective:flipoff2:
Touche' ... but there was a time that this thread in Gen 4x4 would have caused an uproar with the internet tough guys :flipoff2: I also figured there are way more people in the chit chats than elsewhere on this forum.

I went with KCs on my Bronco. Expensive, but very bright.

I have the ARB Solis on my truck (7” I think?) and the smaller ones (5”?) on my grand Cherokee and very happy with them.

I have KC round lights, one pair is updated old style, other is some updated round. Bright.

If you want some quality lights, the previously mentioned Diode Dynamics, Baja design, or rigid are all great lights. The new KCs are quite nice from what I hear as well.

I'm currently using Diode dynamics sae amber fogs on a couple of my rigs. No complaints, have saved my ass a few times.

Also, I havent seen them in person, but those new Roadshock 6 harbor freight lights have been getting some good reviews, seems like a good light if you don't want to spend the money on the spendy options.

Get a light bar off a police 'sploder. Replace the blue and/or red modules with more white.

If you just want something that looks the part, any cheap Chinese lights will do.
Look at the vehicle these are going on. You could have stopped typing there.

Niglight and Auxbeam have been decent, higher end Chinesium, definitely not on the same level as Baja Designs or Rigids, but serviceable and affordable.

Been looking at Hella's Value Fit, but I really don't want to drive around with something that says "Value Fit" on it. I've had Hella 500s on a few things and have their H4 conversions in 2 different vehicles, but have never had any of their LEDs yet. One of the Amazon reviews for the Value Fits shows them taking the housing apart and removing the logo. I'm obviously not alone.

Nighlight on the service truck is one of them that will blank out the radio....

I have a speed demon lights bar on my truck. Better than the same size Amazon bar that was on there until a dumbass in a ranger was unable to see the front of a parked f350 and drove into it. Typical pizza delivery retard.

I have the Nacho / ARB / Baja Design / Rigid on a few cars, I like them all but the rigid.
The rigid lights lens all went yellow on me, pretty disappointing for what you pay for.
I would say the Nacho and Baja designs are probably the highest quality lights I have used and seen on any rig I have owned or been around.
If I were to buy a set today, I'd probably try out the road shock from Harbor freight. They look and feel really nice. If you don't need the full performance of a race light like a Baja designs, I'd try the harbor freight light.

X2 on the Nacho or Baja Design lights. Very good quality and good light output.

I've had the Nacho TM5s on the front of the Bronco for a couple years now and they were my favorite lights I've ever ran. The ability to kick some amber in there makes them very friendly to the eye. However, I've had the chance to run a set of the new Nacho Grandes and they are even better.

If theyd have named it hamburger itd at least be the right shape
