I'm swapping an NP242HD in my build and I'm looking for a front output that will work with a 1350 CV whether flange or yoke.

It came from a WJ so it had a funky CV flange which is unusable. I tried putting the rear flange that came with my SYE and it hits the shift linkage.

Any recommendations on an output? I'm thinking either a square flange from an 80s Chevy or a 1350 CV yoke. I don't know what fits, assuming any flange that came on a 241 should not only fit but have a pattern that will fit any CV I want.

Like this one? According to the chart it is 32 spline which should work and mates to a 1350 CV. I would imagine if it fits a 241 it should fit a 242 🤷

Maybe double check your seal surface?

All my 241 flanges are round. My 205s are square. Same bolt pattern tho. (All dodge)

So weird that the right and left drop 241 cases do not interchange flanges according to this website. Very strange...

This is the RHD which looks like what you have:

This is the LHD which I'm assuming would fit my LHD 242:

Why would they? The different OEMs all want their own driveshaft bolt pattern on shit.

I cant remember what jeep its from but I swapped my WJ 242 to a yoke a few years ago. ill try and dig up what i did.

EDIT: Nevermind, I used 1310 stuff and a ZJ front shaft

I did a little digging. The Durango and Hummer run a yoke. Can't find what size Ujoint but I'd guess the Hummer is 1330 or 1350.

I did email Torque King to see if they have any suggestions.

It's a left drop front flange (95ish) I swapped on the rear of this '90 right hand drop. Dunno if that helps.

Well if it fits without hitting the linkage or should be good for my application 👍
