Noise

My 7.4 developed a clacking noise that starts at 2000rpms and quits when I get over 2500rpm. Before and after that range it's quiet. Any ideas on what it could be?

Does it do it in park?


If yes, pull the belt off and try it. Not for long, no water pump/ fan

Only does it in park if you spike the gas quick. My brother said he's leaning towards the belt also
