In I guess spent the afternoon went to harbor freight bought a wagon to drag my cut up trees to front well for bulk pickup. Already killed the wagon I’ll return it tomorrow. :homer: I loaded and unloaded myself. I’m sure I’ll regret it tomorrow. Monday drive to North Carolina Raleigh area for the week for work.

Watching the trees burn. Pretty sure someone thought it would be a good idea to have a camp fire with 15 mph winds because they 'avoided the crowds' last weekend.

I have friends and family being evacuated.

Photo from 30 minutes after the fire started.

Swapped a new axle under the ATV trailer. My dad used a really nice axle that doesn't have dick for tire selection when he built it, only local source was TSC for 60 bucks a piece. Set it up for 16" lawn mower front tires you can get anywhere.

Cleaned the chimney and pellet stove at mom's so it's ready to run and drug the MB home so I can actually get some shit done on it.

In now.
We left at 7am for the state rivalry college football game. Got to our tailgate spot around 9am. Went to the stadium at 1:30. Game started at 2:30. The traffic after the game was terrible so we didn’t get home till 9pm.
It was a long day but a lot of fun.

I’m going to relax and read for a bit and then get some sleep.

In soon.

Wife and boys dropped me off at das haus and went to a friend's place. I put the new casters on my engine hoist. Then went down to neighbor's for their family bbq get together per invitation. Just finished up the last dormer on the house. Wife and I might get the ice and water barrier on the north half of the roof tomorrow.

In, another fair:homer:. My daughter had to find friends to ride rides with this time though, I rode the scrambler with her last weekend, it fucked my head up and it stayed like that until Thursday :homer:. Seen some people that I haven't seen since high-school and some that I haven't seen since last years fair.

Client brought the TSR over and I RTCed it. Bought a new MF and moved the RTCed TSR down to the LKD to have it GHFed

Sweet geebus. Was it at the mall parking lot by chance? :flipoff2:

Last time we did a single 100 rig event, the fire roads looked more like a parking lot.
More than 4-5 rigs becomes not fun. Especially if one is a POS or can't drive worth a shit and gets constantly stuck.

It was packed in the vendor area but was pretty spread out elsewhere. There are a few popular people watching spots. All good for the sport and promotion of the park. This is a scramble area so lots of different tracks & obstacles.
You can google or search FB for Detroit 4Fest.

This is not a trail ride where we are trying to cover ground. It’s a big event with food trucks, vendors, axe throwing, a rock crawl with$1000 payout, and lots of social and peoplewatchjng.

I was feeling real fucking proud about my self and shit was going good.
Got the windows framed in, everything shored up, knocked some of the extra bullshit out and stabbed some straight studs in place.

Went a head and cut the window holes out and started the siding securement. Going good. Threw tje small window in and got froggy so i went and grabbed the big window...........

For 2 years all i heard was " i want the same window as our room over here". We bought the windows early last year. Spent a lot of time trying to find the right small window and we walked away with 2 that day so alls good.

I pulled the small window down to get measurement to frame so i had it down. Didnt need the big one cause i got a existing hole to measure..........

Its not the same window:lmao::mad3:

quick, don't tell the wife

it's easier to berate yourself for "measuring wrong" than dealing with it being "the wrong window"

Yeah... ill take the fuck up on it cause "i forgot" we didnt get the same and i never measured it.

Shit part is im NOT scabbing the siding back in because the window size and shift was gon leave a big hole i would have to scab back in on a wall that allready had a scabed in hole. Fuck that shit just reside the wall so its right.....

I had to burn a stud on the small window wall to tie into existing "studs"

I burned 2 on the big window wall cleaning up the fucking garbage.

Now im 1.5 studs short to complete framing. :lmao:

The big window wall is 16' 6" wide, @ $100sht so i burned 90% sht to complete.
:lmao:

2350 here. Got some of the ice and water barrier on. Sprained some muscles in half my ass last weekend, so I've had a hard time moving this week.
