The hell is going on with that window in the 1st pic?

Spray foam. House is from 1912 with lath & plaster and had original wood frame single pane windows that were pretty well rotten. Been steadily replacing them with modern ones and haven't finished the inside yet. Original windows are built into the house and 36x64", so replacing them is a pretty complex process of building a frame within the existing inner and outer surface, blocking in a few inches of height and then installing new windows. Not insulated and lots of gaps in the siding, so trying to seal everything as thoroughly as I can.... i.e. lots of foam.

That one in particular I think we tried to trim some of the foam before it dried all the way and found up with a big glob. Probably this summer when it's hot and my wife is off we'll do the drywall work to finish. Work in progress, but at least now the bug stay outside mostly. First year we were here there was about 3 months where each week was a different type of bug infestation. Wasps flying around inside the house is not exactly a comfortable feeling.

I am so sorry, that is something I worry about pretty much daily.
Thanks for that. He was my wifes dog, i only knew him about 4 years. Could be an absolute pain at time lol, but at the end he was a shadow of what he used to be. You'll know when its time. We were keeping him around more for us than anything. Havent cried like that in a long time.

Never, ever easy. I am sorry :( We put my cattle dog down last year after a six week long stressful injury care session. We regret not putting her down when the hematoma started but we had hope for her.
