Mine were sprayed over as well. But truck got a hit and run dent last winter in the driver side rear portion of the box, so I got all new bolts when the dealership body shop fixed it. They actually removed the whole box side and replaced it with a whole brand new panel.

They didn't remove the bolts on either of mine they just mask and cut them.
Something about these bolts are torque to yield or something so they aren't supposed to remove them.

Weird..... My 22 XLT has SXM radio and pwr fold/telescope mirrors. Also has both 5th wheel prep and towing pkg.
 
No comment on Line-X or the like, I have a bed mat from 1998 that I've used in like 7 trucks now. :flipoff2:
Still super satisfied with my 7.3 truck. Had some business trips 2-4 hours away of late where it's all interstate. Hand calculated 15.7-15.9 running 70-80 mph. Pretty hard to beat.
Towing my crawler this weekend down to SC for the day. it'll dip closer to 10 but I'll take it.

any way to get one lower to the ground? still looks like some clearance can be taken out.
 
Too many nanny alarms on these things.

Drive with the tailgate down and alarms go off.

Drive with something on the back seat and alarms go off.

Get out to open a gate and alarms go off.

Why does the dash display setting need to be reset every time the vehicle is started?

The new styling still hasn’t grown on me at all. Much prefer the 17-22 over the new ones but it has gotten to the point if you don’t keep trading up after 50-100k you get left behind. Decisions, decisions, also don’t like any of the new colors.

I don’t think I've ever liked a body style until the next one comes out.
 
I liked the 17s after the first year or so, agree though overall.

I’m still not smart enough to get it to stop telling me to check the rear seat for occupants every time I park. Other than that there’s nothing that really annoys me.

You’re dead nuts on with the styling by year.

I haven’t been in anything built after 2019 as far as nanny stuff goes. Makes me insane though that the backup proximity sensors can’t be permanently turned off in my 2012 though
 
My wifes 22’ f150 drives me fuckin nuts with all the fasten seat belt, truck is on, occupants etc etc. fuckin will shift itself into park if u back up with door open
I finally turned off the occupant thing and it fuckin updated or something and i had to start all over. Shits not intuitive either. Instrument lcd is glitchy and slow

So glad i opted to buy a used 2020 f250 instead of the 23-up with the new nanny bullshit like the 21-up f150
It is comfortable tho
