New Bronco reports

I initially thought it was dumb too, but once you learn about the modes, you realize it's doing more than just turning your lockers on. It's actually a lot faster, and quite convenient. It would be cool to have memory modes that you could set yourself.

I will say, I was a huge skeptic coming from Toyota. The modes on that were dumb, just push the locker or atrac button on your own.

With the Bronco, the throttle, steering and traction control changes are definitely noticeable, especially with the manual trans. Though I know mine doesn't auto lock the front diff in rock or mud mode.

Yeah, I think there are some errors on that chart. It's just what I grabbed from a quick google search.

Because they didn’t give him one to race :flipoff2:

Not hate for me, But I've come to the realization I would have to spend upwards of 100 grand to get one stout enough and built up enough to make me mildly happy out crawling (even then I would now have to be worried about body damage).

And then it would probably be ruined for the street, except for maybe local rides. Would I really drive 200 miles out, wheel all day, and then 200 miles home on 40's? (maybe once).

I even looked at wrecked/salvage bronco's for a while, and even those are going for insane money.

So I upgraded the tow rig instead (and I found a dealer that would do invoice on a special order, which you will never find on a bronco, if you get it built at all)

But I would love to see a built 6G out on some decent trails in the eastern Pa parks. So far, I've only seen a couple pics of one stock SAS, at last years Bronco Roundup (ECBR).

We still have 4 used ones on the lot. Highest mileage is 1,500, lowest is 3, so demos and markdowns that won't sell.

Well look at the prices on them and it's no wonder.

Our local dealer can't sell them either. They hold them on the lot for a couple months and they get shipped off somewhere else. They recently got a Raptor in and immediately added a $24,000 market adjustment to it to put it up over $110,000. I thought Ford told their dealerships they weren't allowed to do that anymore?

Used black diamond with almost no options for more than I paid for my high package badlands with the beadlocks. Can't tell if it's the $8k markup, or the insulting $95 discount off of the marked up price that's keeping people away.....

Base’s for $55k. Got it. There’s two nicer ones for sale here for $62 and $63k that aren’t moving either.

Sorry, didn't realize that was overpriced. I don't pay much attention to the Furd dealerships in our group. But looking at the stickers, they are a bit much. Not really surprised, they did the same thing with the first couple TRX's we got also.

Don’t apologize to me. I’m just an internet a-hole who thinks they cost to much… everywhere not just those ones. Those are actually pretty competitively priced. I think the initial wave of panic buying because it’s the hot new thing has passed. I’ve not paid attention to anything like this before. Is it normal to get new vehicles with only 1500 miles on them traded in?

If I had to guess, I would say they were demos. They could have been trades, but I would think if you were going to trade something in that quickly, whatever is wrong with it would be something you would know from a test drive.

I thought they couldn’t sell the demo’s? Or I might be confusing demos with pre production or some other term. I have a pre-production “demo” unit from Ford, there was 6 of them in different packages that got passed around to a bunch of different magazines and demos for a year that can’t be titled or registered. Fun havers kept all 3 of the 4 doors and they gave away the two doors to people who would commit to racing them. I’m a bronco loving fag and need another one when the prices align with my budget.

Dealers get "mannequin" Broncos for the show room and test drives, etc. They're not supposed to be sold for X number of months or miles. These are full production vehicles, different than the preproduction like you received.

Demos are usually just toys for the sales staff and owners to fuck off in. They put some miles on them and then can still sell them as new after they have daily driven them for a bit. The exact details as to why these are marked as used, even the one with 3 miles, I am not sure.

I will never see the value. I dont need a soft, normal, or aggressive throttle... I need it to be directly proportional to my foot. That goes for any other input as well.

I want to drive/operate the vehicle. Not it do what it thinks I may think I possibly want to do, maybe.

I’ve got mine completely torque management deleted. It’s the way they should come from the factory.

What did you get deleted? The bronco? Would be cool to delete it completely on my 900 torquehorse CTD

2021 badlands with the manual transmission. Turned it into a race vehicle and completely eliminated all the nanny state bull shit. No ABS, no advance track, no traction control, no electric transfer case. Lost a few cool features but worth it. I don’t think I could have done what I did if it had the 10 speed auto.

Yeah you got a completely different animal. I don't have most of that stuff
