So I didn't like how wide it was with this axle and I figured out why.

The hexes have a large centering snout that was flipped in.

I noticed that you could flip the hexes, but my wheels don't have that size bore, so I sanded it off. Also had to sand the Allen side of the pin a hair.

Guess those were potato pics, but you get the idea. Back to regular capra width.

I built up a kit capra and I can't get the slipper gear to tighten enough in the trans, stalls out on softball size rocks. It's got a hw SE motor. Are you running the stock trans?

Ya, stock trans.

I normally don't like slippers, but the way it's set out of the box is perfect. You forget it's there until you're completely bound. No idea what's going on with yours.

I greased the gears and it got on the clutch. Probably the issue right? Now that I think about it

Yeah, the clutch should be clean and dry.
