My attempt at transforming a zero turn into a legitimate piece of equipment

Certainly no crazier than this guy: Custom Front End Loader on my Zero Turn

0 turn is actually far better suited to a loader bucket than crane. Steering it would probably be far better than a conventional 2wd loader when loading the bucket. Once the bucket is loaded and raised all the way the load is greatly reduced on the tiny front wheels and casters. I have had to make a road using 5/4 plywood for bucket lifts and such many times, for home use the plywood thing is great for a 1 time thing but will get old after 5 minutes. Put some 10 inch wide tires and strong enough swivel setup on the wheels, 500lbs behind the engine, and then make a case for it being legit if the frame doesn't fold up.

How long are the wheel motors going to last using a ZT as a loader? Seems like the most common thing that fails on them and also the most expensive.

this mower build is looking a lot like this build
