Got a bunch of random threads goingbut figure should just have a build thread to aak you fellas questions in

Gauges: Cut most of the cluster out but left the factory speedo in, the rest Autometers. Edit. RPM doesnt go to 0 when car is off, which it is in the foto, but it doesnt bother me.

Seats: from 2006 GTO, just need to finish hooking up power and spacing them up a bit to allow movement

Brakes: Baer Track4 4 piston and 13" rotor that I done fugged up ignoring the break in procedure, but hopefully eventually it will be fine.

Cooling: Champion 4 row rad, GMB water pump, and prayers that it doesnt leak

Engine: Whatever PO put on so far, which is headers, edelbrock intake, and a 14" filter housing. Eventually probabpy alum heads and cam, possibly factory RA manifolds manifolds and mandrel exhaust

Trans: TH400 that shifts great but leaks all over. Reseal would be the easiest, bur tko 600 is very tempting, not sure if a manual GP is the way to go tho. Silver Sport Transmissions | Shift Into High Gear

Audio: nothing yet, but a nice system is a must. Just bought an audison av5.1k amp, and go from there. Had one in my old car a while.ago with Focal speakera and JL W7 woofer and it was a solid setup.


Anyway.

Changed the master yesterday, love me ACDelco oem stuff, old one was leaking out the back. Hooked up oil pressure sending unit and gauge too. Maybe go with a wideband o2 for the empty slot.

Speaking of leaks, old fuel hose from pump sprung a leak, gasoline was literally squirtinf while engine was running. I am pretty fortunate it happened while I was working on it, and not driving. Eventually hace everything baselined though.

You may have explained it elsewhere but what is your attachment to this particular style/car? I only ask because it is imho one of the ugliest things gm ever made

This car is pure sex man. It screams drugs crime and sex.

The only kind of screaming coming from that car is that of the rape victims you have to drag into it. It does have a touch of down on your luck washed up drug dealer though so i guess you got something right. Also still heinously ugly.
