Must have M-18 tools

Anybody have input on the two versions of the M12 fuel Ratchets

2557-20 - 200rpm, 55 ft-lbs - $159 w/ 4.0 battery and charger

2567-20 - 450rpm, 35 ft-lbs, $200 w/ 1/4" fuel impact driver, 2x CP2.0 batteries & charger

Is the higher speed worth more than the extra 20 ft-lbs of torques?

Both those ratchets are to big IMO

I bought the big kit that came with the brushed ratchet (I'm assuming 2457-20) but was planning in returning in and getting the fuel. I don't really care about the other stuff in the set and would also prefer the bigger batteries.

Spose it probly depends on what you are doing and the battery. But if I had bought the smaller 2457-20 first. I Wouldnt own the 2557-20.

YES! The head on the normal speed fuel is fawking YUUUUGE. The high speed and the non fuel are the go too. I have 2 non fuel and 1 high speed, both kick ass but the high speed is my go-to 98% of the time.

honestly I wouldn't use the ratchet at all. but the impact driver is fantastic if you drive screws into wood often.

2457 is the only non fuel I have bought intentionally. Don't normally use them but had an exhaust manifold job where it was all I could get in there, with out single ratchet clicks manually. That said unless you are turning wrenches all day- get what ever one you want, still better than not having one!

They told me it's a false ad, tried ordering this morning.Same with the $99 grease gun kit.

Did get a stubby 3/8" m12 impact and #5 battery for around $160 though.
Alledgely 500 ft/lbs bust a nut power or something like that.

You got lucky, they will not honor it for others great score for you!! The deleted it from their site which they claim to not use on FB

The new stubby with a ho battery kicks ass. I dont go for my mid torque much anymore.

I had the last generation M12 stubby and it was decent but after having to replace it and choosing a newer m18 version I regretted buying the M12 version first.

It'll be an interesting test when the newest M12 gets here tomorrow.

I will add in that my big head 2557-20 now spins out on the stuck stuff if you give it the full chooch. Only had it a year....

I love my m12 fuel 3/8. Yeah the head is big, but it's tits for working on bikes. Makes a 2t top end job a lot faster when I only need to use a torque wrench to snug things down, and I can whip nuts and bolts off with the power ratchet instead. I use the m12 stubby and ratchet a shit load.

Youll like it, hell im thinking about buying another one but i have 2 of the old ones and i dont need 4 stubbies.

The forge batteries worth the $$?

Have a good amount of #3,5 and 6 already. Might have a #8 too.

They have a #8 and #12 forge for $225.

Depending on your tools and usage yes and no. Grinders and saws are the biggest draw tools so if you’re using a newer version of one of those you will see an increase in performance back to back vs a standard ho. If you’re shopping for batteries and happen upon a deal it’s worth it paying retail for them I don’t think is worth it. $10 per ah is the general rule of thumb for a good deal.
