I have quite a bit of wiring to do around the shop and house so im just going to teach my self about AC wiring. I do quite a bit of 12v dc and i understand it pretty good so I dont think i will have any issues. But what are some tools you cant live without? I have a power probe, and a power probe brand multimeter also have assorted strippers and crimpers, but i bought those specifically for 12v and heat shrink connectors. I believe both of them will do ac but i have to check. Also whats a good source of wire, connectors, breakers ect. If i can sign up for a commercial account even better.

Fuel 2 speed hex Screwdriver (NOT an impact).
Olfa heavy duty knife (or the regular one).
Klein stripper (as pictured). Don't buy the one made from super thick metal, it's too klunky and heavy.

I hate that style.

Squeeze & strip ftw.

If you have to do a bunch of devicing out (outlets, switches, etc) the dewalt 8v gyro screwdriver is super easy and quick.

Electricians snip/scissors make quick work of a ton of different tasks

Set of glo-rods if you are retrofitting

At least 1 flex drill bit. If doing mostly romex 3/4 is a good starting size
