No. That's the issue, it doesn't make money and it has so far had "no pathway to profitability."

I suspect Elon intends to make changes. Subscription service perhaps, he's big on that.

But for the time being there won't be much going on. It will take months for this sale to play out, if it does.

As to a Twitter account, I made one, and I made my first tweet that was something like "Is this a search box, or a shout box?" and immediately I was banned and they demanded I provide a shitpile of personal info to unban the account. Fuck that. :lmao:

I am pretty sure the guilty are deleting e-mails, changing algorithms and burning anything that will point to how bad things were. I would like to hope that there are some standup people that will be honest about what was going on and help to right the ship but I doubt it. I don't think we will ever find out how bad things were. I would settle for it not happening anymore.

My understanding every share gets $54.20 or whatever price. That is a check to you, otherwise the investor is notified and should ask you how you want to reinvest the money.

You get a check. Its a 'fair market value or above market value' so your opinion doesn't really matter.
 
I have a feeling Elon just bought himself a $43 billion tax write off. I think there was a lot of money being filtered through there that is going to dry up overnight. If he bans bots the place will be a ghost town.

Not really. The board said they wouldnt reinstate him. The board will be no longer once the deal is finalized. Trump said he preferred press releases, but never stated in there that he wouldnt be back. Heres to hoping we get our mean tweets back.

iirc that was an april fools a couple years back about onlyfans
tumblr went through with it

couple weeks/months ago twitter did stop giving the option to click through to adult content without an account, kinda disappointing because a lotta people only post on the shitty site and I don't see myself making an account

MSNBC is having a meltdown. Just listened to someone explain how elon musk is a racist. This is a white power move and they had some expert on saying that the board had a fiduciary duty to ask twitter users if they wanted musk to take over. This will just silence POC who need it for work. I don't think they know what fiduciary duty means.

They are having a full on meltdown. The next few weeks are going to be fun.
