Thinking of moving radiator to rear somewhere. I have a brass and copper 4 core now. Would like to reuse it. The factory mount system has me concerned. Will it hold up? I think I can replicate in rear.

What is it. A Toyota radiator is easy to mount. The clamp/cradle style in a lot of domestic stuff is a little more involved, but it's been done a bunch.

Go get another core support and cut it down.

Get another set up upper mounts to put on the bottom and build a frame.

Ive wheeled chevys my whole wheeling life and never had a failure from twising damage.

Youll bounce more mud off the axle up into the rad than anything else. Drape a big mud flap from the core support the the engine cross and youll be fine.
