I was poking google for .17mach 2 conversion shit for ruger 10/22 and that turned into generic 22lr shit and then lead to 22lr barrle hunt.....

Doc14 had a cool 22lr barrle that had a shoud on the exit end, 12 actual brl but physicaly 16" long, screw your surpressor on and youre 17.5" oal.

Next i find integrally surpressed brls, aha!
i read and re-read the descrip and everything i could find related to it on the site, not one thing about form filing or extra tax stamping, processing or any thing.

Not cheap by any means but far less than barrle + surp + stamp.

So is there something different about full barrles vs modular screw on surp?

Fwiw, the one i found look like a narrow neck barrle with holes drilled in then a hollow sleeve threaded over it vs a baffled section

I did put in my zip to see if it rejected shipping to ca and it accepted no issue with a conventional shipping time.

Yes im dumb, no i dont know wtf im getting into.

Integrally suppressed barrels also require a tax stamp. :homer: An integral barrel bypasses the sbr tax stamp.

Wasnt sure if it was some stupid loop hole or not.

Most surp sites scream up and down about the stamps and processing, this sight had nothing.

Idk.

Seems like theyre just leaving it 100% on you to do the filing but that leaves the "jail" part out of it .

If "they" transfer a suppressor and/or a sbr to you without a signed and stamp "cancelled" Form 4 (or facsimile, thereof), you BOTH are going to jail... (unless it is an undercover ATF agent doing the transferring, then only YOU get a ticket to go to prison). Under normal circumstances, yes, you are the one to file all the paperwork or e-file, but the dealer does need to fill out their section or give you their information to complete the form and holds the NFA item until the paperwork/e-file is approved. Only then is the physical transfer completed.

I have a S&W M&P 15-22 Performance Center edition, and use a Ruger Silent SR on it. It will shoot a 10 shot group at 50 yards under an inch, and is stupid quiet, is only 5" long and weighs about 6oz (It's Ti). Gemtech makes an integrally suppressed upper for the 15-22 and it would shave a few inches off the overall length, but I doubt it would be much more quiet, and probably not as accurate.
