I had a coworker that would always list his junky old project cars for waaay more than any sane person would pay. Then he'd get calls all day with people trying talk him down or offer trades or whatever. It was hilarious to listen to him on the phone: "No. ...No ..I'm firm on price ..no, ok, call back when you have the money. ...no" He would shut people down left and right. An then somewhere between the 3 and 4 week mark of having it up for sale, some weirdo would buy it for his asking. Worked every time and it blew my mind.
