Trying to sort out OD on the ramcharger I bought a while back because 4.56 gears and 35s don't play at freeway speeds with a 3 speed.
When I bought the rig I was told by the PO that the trans was a 3speed plus electronic OD, but that the switch or a relay or something had gone out. He lived in the hills and only used the rig for towing his boat down to the local fishing spot so never bothered to get it fixed.
Now I'm digging into it and I can't figure out what the hell trans I have. I believe it might be an a518, but I'm measuring the bellhousing to tcase flange to be only 32" and all my searching has said that should be 38" for an a518 or 35" for a 727 (https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/attachments/mopar_trans-jpg.455778/)...

in case it is important, the tcase is a np241 and the setup is mounted to a 360 that has been stroked to 408.
any help with an ID would be much appreciated. if it's legit a 3 speed I either need to do a r&p swap or find something with OD that will bolt in.
