Going to go back to Utah for Thanksgiving week. Not wheeling but camping, hiking, exploring.

Arches and Canyonlands on the list and areas around there.

I have been looking at weather historical data but thought I would ask here for real world experience.

I know it'll be cold, or I would expect it to be. I was there last year and it was beautiful. I spent most of the time in a t shirt and jeans. Hoodie at night. However, I was more south that Arches/Canyonland/Moab down in the Kanab/Monument Valley/Valley of the Gods area by way of Cedar City/Escalante/Bryce Canyon area. It was cold in Cedar City with some snow here and there but nothing unbearable for my California sensitivities. :flipoff2:

Anyone spend time there that time of year or local that can give me some thoughts?

What to expect for weather: Yes.
It’s likely to have it all. I’ve only been in that area a couple of times, but I experienced hot, dry, still and cold wet windy in a week. Spring once, fall once.

my favorite time to be in Moab is around mid November. Day time it’s finally perfect and not scorching hot in the canyon bottoms. Can get cold at night but some of the best campfires till just before sunrise I’ve had are in Moab in November
