Hey, wondering if someone could help me out in a huge way. I want to buy a Willys body tub from C&C Surplus but they will not ship to Canada, understandably. Scott is willing to ship it to a loading dock but I will have a 48 hour window to grab it before they send it back and I get charged extra blah blah blah.

Currently the border isn't open but I was wondering if one of your fine gentlemen would let me ship it to you if you have the means to unload it and reload it? You can PM me, this transaction won't be for several months because I don't want it sitting around either... a M-F pick up is basically impossible and apparently that's when I can pick up in Port Huron
 
In Michigan but doubt I can help. I'm about 9 hours away from port huron but 100 miles from thunder bay across the lake. I could seal it up and clamp an outboard on it and point it north though!

Besides the sneaking it back part, I'll pay taxes so the po' can keep relying on me. I've been with someone who tried to fudge numbers and forget that crap! But you nailed it, I am hoping by the time it is delivered it would only be sitting around for a week, at which time I can bribe someone into a road trip to pick it up.

Oh, this is on the level? I'm out!
I do some work for a small cattle farmer that's located about 20 miles from port huron. They're good people. Can load/unload and store at farm no problem. Could maybe store inside.

Aqualu makes nice stuff but its a hard sell for me because I'll spend another $2k buying all the other pieces I require: grill, fenders, tailgate, windshield frame & hood. At that point... is the aluminum tub worth it when all the other components are steel? It's cool, just out of my grasp $ wise (read: I'm cheap). There is a local* dealer to me (about four hours away) for an MD Juan tub kit but he is $700 more after converting the USD exchange/Duty/Taxes. That $700 can go towards my locker purchased.

What prices are you getting quoted? It is $4500 from 4wp for a CJ3 kit.

$4060 CAD with current exchange shipped to Port Huron. Obviously there is tax and duty (Approximately $300 Duty) on top of that. Id 4wp is really $4500 that isn't bad but their site is terrible to find these kits? Looks like you found kit 12001.05 which is missing the grill
 
I'm 30 miles south of PH, down by Selfridge ANG, but no way to unload it, properly... I'm sure we could smuggle it across LSC
