Kamala is nosediving in the polls and Trump is climbing. While they are not the end all be all, they are useful when aggregated like RCP does. I have seen a 2-3 point drop for Kamala across pretty much every pollster in the last two weeks, even those that are biased for her. Trump being ahead in the popular vote polling at this point is very encouraging, I think he is picking up independents.

I think it is likely that Harris picks up Michigan, Wisconsin, or Nevada or some combination of those.

Just filled out my ballot and will drop it at the library per my usual. I don’t think anything will go fucky with mail in around here being a dem stronghold. I like to sit down and read up on the “nonpartisan” candidates and ballot measures etc.

This....they need to do it like they do in India or wherever....vote in person and then dip your finger in purple dye that doesn't go away for a week. Can't make it in person to vote? .... You don't get to vote. Polling places can be set up in US military bases world wide. Those who are immobile and don't have the capacity to find a ride are either too worthless or too far gone and won't be around long enough to see the effects of their vote so they can sit there and not vote.
 
Why all the talk about mail in ballots? I don't get that here in NC. I went and voted early in person. I trust the postal service as much as i trust a fart after eating mexican food. Is it that hard to go vote in person in Cali? :confused:

I was doing mail in before it was uncool, just cause it was more convenient for work and stuff. I also drop it off directly at the polling place, no USPS. I get a text alert when my ballot is scanned in.

I would have no problem voting in person or showing ID if the rules changed or if I lived in a swing state.
 
I don’t trust the poll numbers the evening propaganda shows are putting up. I think the more people get to know Kamala the more they see what a phony she is. And Walz? :shaking:

I think this election is going to be so closely watched it will be impossible for cheat 2.0. I think Trump will win, not in a landslide like some speculate, but just enough. Now if he makes it to the Oval Office is another thing.

Problem with those is women generally don't gamble. They're really not any better at indicating anything than the polls are.

The one I know the most about is Nevada and while the people that run it are all GOP, the sheer number of service workers with their unions telling them to vote blue will overwhelm the red vote.

We'll see. Union states seem to be moving right to a certain extent, and conservative states like AZ and TX are going purple at best

I would think with trump beating the tariff drum of late to get manufacturers to build and assemble products here the unions would tripping over themselves to endorse him.
