Looking for bumpstop help

Hello,
Does anyone have a good link or instruction for how to install (measure/set up) hydraulic bump stops on a 3rd gen 4runner IFS long travel front end?

BTF long travel kit with Locked Off Road threaded bump stops.

Put vehicle at full bump, compress the air bumps and then mount them.

I always added a 1/2 thick bump pad after the bump stop was burned in, cause deflection and that area where the bump hits always gets worn out, causing overtravel and pain on your shock bolts.

Just so I understand correctly,:

1) Remove shocks and springs
2) Pull the springs off and reinstall shocks
3) Compress shocks to full bottom out
4) Install bumps at full bottom out also? (Shouldn't the bump bottom out before the shock? Should I leave 1.5-2" of shock shaft showing with bumpstops at full bottom out?

Leave 1/2" to 3/4" of shock shaft showing and you will be fine.
