on a tracfone thing now, 1.5gb of data for a year kinda sucks, I remember someone on old pirate told me about a $35/mo unlimited data plan but can't for the life of me remember what the heck company it was

Try Tello. It's customizable to your needs.

I always have wifi and never make calls so I chose unlimited text with 300 min and 2gb data per month at $12. I used to pay $35 for unlimited everything with Boost Mobile. I think they still offer it.

For me 2 gigs is plenty for google maps and non-wifi shit.

ATT had $35 unlimited Ipad plans but those are gone now. You can get an unlimited prepaid plan for $55 if you use autopay.

Using redpocket.com got my kids on the unlimited talk/text + 1G data a month plan and pay about $15 a month for them. I believe their unlimited plan is $60 if you really need unlimited.

Google Fi unlimited is $45/month IIRC, or you can get the non-unlimited for about $20/month plus data usage ($10/gig). My family of four goes through about 2 gig a month, four lines, data usage, unlimited calls/texts, bill usually runs just under $100/month out the door on the non-unlimited plan. When it was just me before I put the rest of them on, it was around $35/month. If you need unlimited data, WalMart Straight Talk also comes in around $45/month for unlimited talk/text/data but they threaten to throttle your data after 2 gig/month IIRC.

I'm on te att kick and have been for a few years now.

$40 a month gets you 8gb.
and hot spot.

the unlimited plan will not hot spot.

if you pre pay for the year it works out to $25 a month for the 8GB plan.

Visible $40 month all in, unlimited everything, runs on Verizon network, I'd day 95% as good as having regular Verizon. Sometimes it even roams better and will find a.signal where my work phone won't. Negative is it's all online, limited phone selection.

I'll be pissed if I have to go back to paying full price! :flipoff2:

Cricket or Att Prepaid is gonna be your best & cheapest option.

Also Cricket is owned by Att.

get 4 in a party plan and its $25 per month, I have 3 phones $75 total 1 is tethered to a router for home wifi and streaming shit.
there is a redit page to request party people, took me about 10 minutes to fill mine, only needed one so it was easy, have been on visible for about a year , dropped my 2 phone verizion unlimited plan that was $175.

use the website to check your phone, i tried to buy used phones from the internet but they would not work, had to buy from visible $500 each and $200 gift card, so about $300 each , needed new phones anyway and was about $100 each more than I normally spend ( galaxy S9) . made my money back with the savings already.

I have Visible wireless. Unlimited $40 a month, uses the verizon network.

Speed isnt fast, but its good enough for me. I actually got rid of my internet 6 months ago and have been using hotspot for my computer.

Puretalk for the last 5-7 years. ATT bulk reseller, so ATT-locked phones work, which means I can buy whatever Clist used stuff I want. ATT is the best coverage in AK, too.

Customer service is in South Carolina, and the only time I hear from them is when my price goes down, or data goes up. Probably not the cheapest by a few bucks, but I've been happy with them.

Ah, it was "visible" that you all'd recommended months ago. Couldn't remember...

when they say that "after high speed data is used it slows down to 128k" do they mean after the 8gb is used?

I'm leaning heavily toward the visible one because I'm planning on using it for my desktop and everything. They just laid fiber through my area but it ain't hooked up yet. Bet it'll be expensive with them being the only game in town other than wireless.

I have both Tello and Red Pocket, very happy with both of them.

Tello is the cheapest, I pay $10 per month for my primary phone that I also use for my business.

yes.

maybe.
I used a grandfathered unlimited plan to host an entire house's wireless for atime and it never got throttled.
used hundreds of GB. But throttling depends on network congestion in your area.

but even then, the att prepaid limits hotspot data.
most will. Check the fine print.

if guy is using the visible and they haven't throttled it, that's probably your best bet.
