I've been enjoying watching live streams of all sorts of stuff lately, and it's becoming more and more popular. Let's have a thread for all interesting things live streamed.

Almost all racing bodies live stream free nowadays from Ultra 4 to Nascar, IMSA, WEC, Pikes peak, Cleetus Mcfarland etc. Then some guys live stream building stuff occasionally. There are even interesting live streams occasionally nature related, whether it be a coral reef in Hawaii, or an active volcano in Finland.

Let's keep it to actual live streams, and considering a few current topics, lets ignore "news" haha.

Here are some examples:

Ultra 4 is currently live for Visions Offroad (so we can bump this thread with the new live link for each day)

And if you've seen me post enough, you know I'm a space nerd. There are actually 24/7 live streams from fans with robotic cameras watching all progress on SpaceX's Starship rocket. They're going to static fire their big prototype booster today if all goes well

Got a spare TV in front of you and want to turn it into a back to the future style window to nature? Here's a live coral reef view you can just have on quietly in the background while you work.

So when you see something interesting being live streamed wether it has an engine or not, post up!

What if my internet options are dial-up or metered?

The new green deal should be cutting down on energy usage playing a live stream all damn day :flipoff2:

I have gigabit to the house. Just chaps my ass I get to pay $100/month to use 5-600 GB because everything is a damn stream these days.

Haha Greg let's say hard no on that

Chevy, lol anyone with dialup or a metered connection is probably stuck with their old stack of DVDs or VHS :lmao:. But even rural folks will have the opportunity for decent unmetered internet via Starlink in the next year or two. For me, I cancelled my cable TV last year and stream all of my entertainment now. While yes it uses a ton of bandwidth, I'm below my ISPs limits and saving a good chunk of change by not having a true TV service any more

Living in bumfuck nowhere, I'll take the metered gigabit connection over no connection. They justify it by giving you the first 20gb for $20, so the little old lady paying bills or reading news won't ever pay more than $20. I have kids and a wife, so they burn through shit loads of data.

No TV service either. There's better things to do. It's why I have dirt bikes, snowmobiles, and a camper :flipoff2:

Some random ones I stumbled across today, there's a live stream going of some drag racing called Dig or Die. Dunno much more about it than that though

And some interesting track racing

Hah I had to read up, had no idea what it was. Apparently that is what became Twitch, interesting.

But yeah pretty much :lmao:

coolest part of it were the movie channels

damn now that i rememeber, there was some hot chick i chatted with on the east coast. then one day she told me she had the wildest dream about me and felt she had to share, but if i told anyone in the channel aged just deny it. damn, might have been the one. or maybe just a raging whore.

cool story montrose. :homer:

thats also where i discovered trailer aprk boys

I heard him talking with people about that, I don’t know enough about drag racing to know what TV show that is? Yeah not sure how I feel about it if that’s the case

Not big into drifting, but looks like they have a live event going on today if you're looking for something to have on in the background

Got the TV on FD and the computer on Spa.
I'm being a lazy mother fucker right now.

Haha I hear that. I spend more time doing computer work right now than I ever have in the past, I've found I usually like background noise whether it's a stream or music, so on these days i usually have something going

I won't have a chance to watch, but there should be some decent racing this weekend. U4 is in Sturgis as well I believe so we should get those too

Best In The Desert is live with the Vegas to Reno right now, not sure if there are other live streams but I'll share if I see 'em

There's a volcano in iceland that's been erupting and has a cool live stream goin

There was a stock suburu finishing the race this year. They drove from Illinois. This is the third attempt. Awesome.
