Live oaks and large sailing vessels

I remember watching a TV show about how large ship shipwrights wanted live oaks that had fallen and had not yet been cut up to harvest the curved limbs.?

I have a friend with a large live oak that is 75% fallen and would like to donate it to anyone that wants it.

Tree is in Tampa area.

Any ideas/recommendTions

Bring it up to me and I'll mill it.


In reality, best bet would be to offer it up to a local with a sawmill and let them market it. In that vid, he milled it in GA and shipped t all the way across the country to WA.
