Linkin park 2024 live show

And people wonder why concert tickets are so expensive. All that production costs money, money to design, money to rent, money to operate, money to set up and tear down, and money to transport. A few things have helped over the years, more reliance on in-ear monitors has eliminated a lot of the stage monitors, LED's use FAR less electricity than the old 1kw Par Cans, LED walls are easier to set up vs. projection, Class D amplifiers are stupid powerful and weigh a fraction of what the old Class AB amps weighed, BUT, bands are making their shows bigger and bigger. Look at the Rolling Stones, who should have packed it in long ago, so to make up for their diminished skills, they up the production.

I was reading all the hype about her singing for LP and got really excited. That being said, I haven't that let down in a long time.

She just doesn't fit. She's just not good.

I put Linkin Park un the same boat as Korn.

I listened to Nu Metal in 7th grade. It didn’t age well, IMHO.
They belong in the same boat as Korn :flipoff2:Also had some great stuff. As the years went on, linkin park albums changed more from one to the other for the good. whereas Korn were more similar, when they did change, it was as good as Metallica changing :barf:

Metallica should have just fucking stopped after AJFA came out. They’ve had some good songs since but that is where they peaked and it’s been shit since.

I enjoyed the Black album (I was also super young when it was released). But agree that And Justice for All was the last true Metallica album.

Lots of bands should’ve hung it up after certain albums. Megadeth and Slayer fall into that as well.

I saw them on tour when the Black album came out which was great because they were still playing their older songs to the same ferocity they always had been. Never saw Slayer live but it never bothered me as without Lombardo, they weren’t Slayer in my eyes. Only band from back then that seemed to keep getting heavier was Pantera.

I didn't watch the one linked in the OP, that was just easier to find on my phone. On the actual LP page, they've got an hour long one, which is just standing and just like 100 or so people.

But yeah, it's not something you can really go hard in the paint on

:smokin: now that's a band you can get up and dance to :flipoff2:

Mmm, Chimera :smokin: that’s a band I haven’t listened to in ages

Time to fire up Spotify and cruise down memory lane

Not a fan of the new lady. Not only is her sound just off to me. She is full on typical crazy if you read about some of the stuff from her recent past. Hopefully she will drag them down enough to let LP drift off into the sunsett like they should have.
