Got one for free, power input is 208/230 and the factory plug is the 20 amp 240.
Question is; Can I swap that for a NEMA 10/50 and not fuck up the machine?

The supply cord looks like 12ga and has cuts in it. My plan was/is take a cut down 10/2 extension cord and replace the existing cord and plug from machine to wall. Hardwire on the machine and 10/50p to match my existing 10/50r already in use.

Yeah, toss whatever 20+ amp plug and cord all the existing shit in your house shop uses. No reason to over think it.
