What's new

Labor Day losers

Do this as much as you can. Before you know it they're heading off to college

The boy turns 5 this week. I don't know if its because we're older people with kids, or this is just what happens when you have kids... but id swear on my life that last year he was -1 and stumbling around the shop in a race car walker.

Went camping this weekend with the family. It got terribly windy after about 9 and trees were falling down like crazy. Got out of there asap and how we got home and the power is out. The generator ran for an hour and ran out of gas and all the locallish gas stations don't have power to sell gas I are screwed.

Pump it out of ur mowers and vehicles

One of my great nieces turned 13 yesterday seems like just last week her mom was expecting her.

I know the feeling. Ours is about to turn 11 months. Some days of feels like we just brought her home. Hard to believe she will be 1 in a little over month.

Wife went to grocery store, could not get everything we wanted. I went to the bank to pull our monthly allowance took 15 min. Went to cell phone store to pay bill. I realized truck registration was due, Went to 2nd bank, spent 2 hours, had lunch. Drove half way back home and realized I forgot cutter ant poison, turn around go back and get it, then wife lets me know that I needed to stop at the other grocery store for stuff, turn around again and go back to where I was, get groceries, stop at hardware store for screws to fix stairs down to the bodega, finally drive home All in all 6 hours.

island life has its down sides. :lmao:

It's the sleep deprivation. Also make him cut that filthy hippie hair. :flipoff2:

Took mom shopping for her birthday, having a couple of michelada`s watching the youtubes, hoping this is the week I land a camp job and get back out west.

Fucked around and found out. I didn't leave my house so got called into work :homer: I get paid at least two hours for work on nights weekends or holidays and overtime pay so going in for a hour I'm in. Ac Condenser was packed full of crap rinsed it out much better now.

Decided to reroute a trail around a spring/soft spot. Ended up clearing about 1-2 acre of dense saplings and brush. Started off cutting with the chainsaw until i said f it and ended up just plowing it all into a burn pile with the wheel loader. Looks great cleaned up between all the big tree's. Now I've got a few more acres to do, half of it steep that will be a real pain.

Meh, maybe one day. Right now he's the weirdo hippy/ Mad Max feral boomerang kid that grew up listening to Tool, eating apples core- stem- seeds and all, and head butting baby goats at the petting zoo. :flipoff2:
