What's new

Korean movie flicks

Hotel del Luna was good on Netflix

Infernal Affairs was good. It’s interesting to see, since The Departed is one of my favorite movies, and is a remake (occasionally scene for scene) of Infernal Affairs.

Just watched "Train to Busan".

Movies like these are a reminder of how bankrupt Hollywood is.

"Squid Game" was really good too.
Just watched the first episode of Squid Game. Good shit.

No subtitles to read they vouce dub over. You barely notice.

I am lucky, in that as a former KorLing, spent a lot of time in Korea... and speak Korean.

Used to go to the movies there, where they eat dried squid as a movie snack...

And yes, they are starting to rival Hollywood.
