[Kriptonite]

Running my excavator yesterday and noticed if I'm on even the smallest incline with the boom extended that the swing system will not hold it from swinging.
I have to continuously reset the position. It's worse swinging left than right. Anybody got any ideas other than calling a repair man.

Swing brake isn't holding. It's kinda like a wet clutch in the swing motor, I suppose they wear out just like one too.

Thanks. After a little checking I believe you are correct. Got a couple leads on someone to help me with the repairs. I'm old and physically challenged.
