Generally I don’t have a problem with dogs, but off leash in the city outside of designated dog parks pisses me off.

My daughter and I walked to our new to her school this morning to play on the climbers.

5 minutes before this incident there was a on leash Rottweiler this woman couldn’t control as it dragged her closer to us and was lunging at us so we crossed the street

We get on school grounds which I think has a sign of no dogs but it’s Saturday… whatever I’m not splitting hairs… saw the dog and know of it… generally it’s pretty docile but today it chased my kid after she got scared and ran.

I wish it was legal to taser them here.
Of course the owner stated “he’s never done that before”

If I owned a farm I’d have zero issue shooting a dog in my field.

Cliffs: cats rule!

Maybe he really, really wanted to play with her? :flipoff2::flipoff2:

Dogs are never allowed on school grounds no matter the day. For this reason and for dogshit reasons. Nobody want some 1st grader throw dog turds he finds at other kids, eating it or just touching it in general.

Fuck cats by the way.
A good dog IS the hierarchy of the animal world, including people!

:rainbow: unless she got bit:flipoff2:
I was chased as a kid… about her age too maybe a year or two older. The dog attacked the neighbors dog and our neighbor. I don’t really recall the extent of the damage but there was blood. I remember I called 911 and the cops showed up probably thinking I was abused 😂

I hit the dog in the face with a hockey stick.

I didn’t get bit… but fuck off leash dogs

I hate idiot dog owners.

Did you kick the dog? I kick unfriendlies.

I have never and will never go to a dog park.
By the time I got to my kid the dog was on the other side of the fence. I’ve actually never seen her run that fast. I was like holy shit she got away from me quick.

I did kick a goose a few months ago that attacked us at the park 😝

That mother fucker bit my leg first as I was walking along the bike path

Geese are super dicks!!!!!

I ran fast af when I had a mad steer after me. Amazing what adrenaline can do for you.

Sucks bad dog owners ruin it for all of us. I was chased as a kid. Around 4th grade if memory serves. I learned not to run from a dog. Most dogs that behave like that have a prey drive, don’t act like prey.

Honestly about 1/2 the dog incidents I hear of are dual fault. Learn how to behave around animals helps cut a vast majority of them down. You worried about a taser? Fuck that shit if I am being chased or charged by a big dog I am pulling my gun. I have been bit by a big dog. If that dog weighs 80lbs and attacks you’re probably fucked if it hits you. When was the last time you got hit by 80-100lbs doing 30 mph? You on the ground now and in a world of hurt. Tase that fucking dog next time. Dont be indecisive, thats how people get dead.

Dog bite?
Like this?

oh shit. What kinda dog did that?

Creepy neighbors border collie bloodied up my boyfriend last year. The owner made the dog JUMP up on each Sherriff officer that showed up for the attack. I asked them about it and the smaller officer said he backed up because the dog growled in his face. If it had bit him, we wouldn't have had to deal with the dog again.

Creepy neighbor has to be the most dog stupid person on the planet.

Trudy says gun bad… I’m in Canada. Carrying is frowned upon. I have to police to protect me /end sarcasm

Off topic but I like your sound system. I want to do that in my Cj2a

I have the same speaker for at the dock 😆
It has been pretty good, battery life is lacking but I mostly keep it plugged in because of that. It is also temperature sensitive, if it gets hot it gets stupid and is hard to reset.

Ste has a cracked bone from the attack too. :(
I didn't notice that right away, but after the wound healed and I could use my arm I noticed the bone hurting. That was 4 months ago, I strained it yesterday and felt the pain again :homer:. I guess that it needs to heal a little longer.

:(

Ste's hand was in late July, and it still has a swollen bubble on his hand. I wanted him to get it x-rayed but.....

Creepy's dog doesn't seem to want to jump our fence, yet.
Our two big black dogs shouldn't have a problem taking it out if it does. Both are 75lbs. Then I get to dodge Creepy's shovel or pitchfork.

My whole career as a telephone repairman, never got bit. But it's how I blew out the disk in my back. Went on a service call, Noone home, entered a long porch to the front door, as soon as I got there a Rottweiler came out the dog door at full speed. I jumped over the railing, and down a 10' embankment.
Dogs that bite or chase down humans should be put down.

Rotties are my dogs. Love em. But I talk as many people as I can out of getting one. 99% of people shouldn't get a Rottie. Unless you're absolutely certain you do and you can handle it you're part of that 99%. The real ones are alpha as fuck, protective as fuck, and territorial as fuck and you gotta be able to rein that in. If you're not ready to deal with that get a golden retriever.

This was back in the late 50s. My dad was a kid and the neighbor had a dog that would chase him and the other kids. My grandpa went and talked to the neighbor about it. A week later the dog chased my dad again when he was coming home from school and ripped his brand new jacket. My grandpa took his gun and went across the street and shot the dog and told the neighbor "I told you if it happened again I'd shoot your dog". And that was the end of that.:grinpimp:

Pit bulls, akita's and some other's I can't remember at the moment are in the same category needing a smart alpha owner.

Story of my life and exactly why I hate dogs. I was chased, bit and tortured all my childhood with dogs and the owner would always say “he’s never done that before”. Which was a statement they would say after saying “he’s friendly. He won’t bite”. :mad3::flipoff:

Cats are awesome. :smokin: Go team cat.

Many different dogs or the same one?

Ste's great aunt was saved by her Siamese cat during a home invasion. The guy ended up in the ER 48hrs later and confessed to being attacked by the cat.
