Key West trip

Wife and I are taking a trip to Key West later on this summer. We have been once before and had a blast so we know the lay of the land somewhat. I would really like to rent a boat with a captain this time around to do some sand bar hopping for a half day or full day depending on rate. We don't need any special amenities or gimmicks, just a boat that floats, a cooler full of beer, and a captain that knows the local spots. Google reveals quite a bit of options, but I thought I would reach out to my Irate pals first to see if anyone has any first hand experience with this.

Any other must do's while we are there? We are staying on the south end of Duval St.

BTDT, booked a BMW X3 on Turo and took it from West Palm Beach airport all the way to Key West and back up over the course of a week. Hit up a lot of cool spots I wouldn't have found otherwise but got a lot of windshield/traffic time as well. I would recommend making the drive once to anyone but we're flying direct into Key West airport this go around and chilling and I'm not mad about it.

I drove 130 mph on key largo back in late 89

We did an old open cockpit bi wing long loop tour flight off of key west back then too. That was badass. Pilot did some stunts with us too. Two of us in the front seat
