Ken Block Dies

hes buying it back?

i know greg bought ORW which local flavor of 4wp that he was planning on building to run 4wp out of town.
Yep. As soon as the bankruptcy court judge approves it Greg will become owner of 4WP again. Poison spider is getting sold to ARB. I lost the article with the money figures. It’s a whole mass brand part out. Wheel Pros is in there somewhere.

IIRC it said Greg sold it for 560 million and is buying it back for like 7 million.

Just read that Hoonigan is bankrupt. That escalated quickly.

Wheel Pros bought Hoonigan, then rebranded Wheel Pros as "Hoonigan" - fucking disaster move :homer:

This is the one I read a couple days ago.

They are still Wheel Pros. All of my invoices have always and still do say Wheel Pros. I don’t know what Hoonigan actually sells. Wheel Pros owns Fuel, KMC, American Force, Black Rhino, Moto Metal and a few other wheel manufacturers, as well as Teraflex and ReadyLit.

I’d be willing to bet they’re saying Hoonigan is bankrupt as a way to recoup some money from the acquisition of some of the companies they bought up the past year or so. I mean how many people are buying Hoonigan key chains and shirts?

Hoonigan was a lifestyle brand - clothing and such. Some aftermarket bolt ons. They had a Youtube channel, too I think, but without the primary contributor, other contributors left and it dried up

I've read many articles about how these holding companies target high cash companies, take the money, leverage it to the max, and then let it fail.

The local furniture store had that happen. Family got paid big on sale, the holding company leveraged the stores, and then let it go bankrupt.

Just like in Goodfellas and The Sopranos

Tons of places. Look at any of the large “activist investors”

It’s a crime really.
