A commonly overlooked issue with most off road builds is preventing leaks. This video will show you how to properly use the FATS system to prevent fluid leaks on your off road vehicle and hopefully prevent fires.

I've got some leftover stainless 5/16 hydraulic line, see any problem with bending it up to hard mount to the engine instead of figuring out how to route a rubber line without burning a hole in it?

Yeah hardline would work just fine.

Thanks for the good tech, I always appreciate your videos. Ill be doing this on my LQ4 when the time comes.

Great tech! Glad to see you publishing this stuff! It may be 'old' tech by forum standards but Youtube is a great way to get this info out in this new era of social media.

People who spend more time with water up to the floor pan than on the roof would be well advised not to run the lines down low.

Also bellows are generally not wise on any trail rig that doesn't get trailered to the trail.

Awesome visuals and layman's terminology. No excuse to not employ these systems on our rigs.

Good visual for the Ultra4 rules lol! Lot of guys should read this. I never thought about the Center mount vent though. I run two vent but a long vent setup. One thing to note is the bigger the vent that faster you can fill it. Gas in Air out!

probably the three loops and down method basically you have three loops of hose that make it impossible for the fluid to come out unless it's extremely pressurized

Great info for sure! I need to fix my trans vent ASAP.
