Japan to Deploy Hypersonic Missile System

Forget all the conflict in the middle east, and the Russia v. Ukraine bs, Germany and Japan growing their military is what really worries me.
 
Will, why does that worry you as in both cases the most likely target of their military are their direct neighbors, Russia nd China ? We have for decades admonished both Germany and Japan for not being responsible for their own defense. Neither of them pose a threat to us ideologically or militarily.

Why China would be shitting their pants if Japan went back to Imperial Japan.

Germany I get, they've gone so far authoritarian left on everything it could very well be creating Weimar conditions all over again.

Japan on the other hand I don't have any problem with rearming. Modern Japan is one of our best allies and is a completely different country than WWII era Japan. With the way things are going in that part of the world I can't blame them for wanting more defense. And it's a good thing for us, Taiwan, and our allies having more friendly defense capability in that part of the world. There's not much over that way outside of South Korea and the US.

Agree 100%.

The Germans have already tried twice over pissing matches for territory. They’re no different than Russia and China IMO.

Japan…we NEED them to get their war machine fired up again. Maybe this time we don’t stop them from committing genocide in China. :smokin::stirthepot:
